The River Dee Trust
Charity Auction 2009
This auction is being organised to help raise much needed funds for the River Dee Trust. The people who have kindly donated these lots have done so in the knowledge that the funds you pledge will be used to help support the twin aims of restoring the River Dee and educating and involving the young and old about how this remarkable water shapes local wildlife and communities alike. Currently there are various projects underway throughout the River Dee catchment which takes considerable funding support to finance these improvements.
1. Roe Deer Stalking & Goose shooting
There are 2 days shooting in this lot, with guide David Gordon, on Donside, Aberdeenshire. Not only is good shooting expected but also the company and knowledge of one of the River Dee Trusts members. Dates to be confirmed between bidder & NE Shooting Breaks 2009/2010.

Ronnie Sutherland who needs no introduction from the Helmsdale tackle company has kindly provided 2 boxed selections of Dee flies. These consist of one box selection of early season tube flies and one boxed selection of summer flies. These flies are fished exclusively by Ronnie when he visits the River Dee with his friends and are proven catchers of River Dee salmon.

A hardback book entitled "The Royal Dee" written by Alex Inkson McConnachie & illustrated by JG Murray A R E and published in 1898 by William Jolly & Sons in 1898. Book in excellent condition for its age and very collectable. A description of the River from the Wells of Dee to the Sea; 161 pages.
