Retired Managing Director from the Banking and Financial Services sector. Passionate Salmon angler and keen conservationist,as well as being active on river, he is chairman of the Aboyne Highland games. Ian brings a wealth of commercial experience and expertise to the river Management organisations and has tremendous drive and vision.

Alastair Hume
Alastair is a retired Bank Manager who, as President of The Aberdeen and District Angling Association is their representative on the Dee Board. He is also member of The Don District Salmon Fishery Board, The Migratory Fish Committee of the Scottish Anglers National Association and The Ythan District Salmon Fishery Board.

Randall Nicol
Joint owner and proprietor of Ballogie Estate incorporating Ballogie, Carlogie and Commonty beats. Solicitor based in Edinburgh. Interested in fishing and the conservation of the Dee and the surrounding area.

David Gordon
Dave has enthusiastically fished the Dee for nearly 30 years, and is very keen to see its continued development to its former glory. A serving Fire Service Officer, Dave is a committee member of the Aberdeen & District Angling Association and Chairman of the River Don Trust.

Victor Beamish
Victor is the proprietor of Knappach fishing beat in the lower river and is a strong supporter of the River Dee Trust. Victor is a keen salmon fisherman and helps with fundraising activities for the River Dee.

Iain Morrison
Iain has a degree in Zoology, is a retired chartered surveyor, is also the Chair of the River Don Trust, a member of the Dee Salmon Improvement Association and has served on a number of other committees. He is a lifelong angler and shooting enthusiast.

Jim Coates
Jim is the Global Head of Brand at Whyte and Mackay. He has lead the delivery of the successful Dee Dram whisky and Dalmore Rivers Collection whiskies to raise funds for Fisheries Trusts. Apart from being a marketing specialist, he is a very keen salmon angler and is passionate about the Dee.

Richard is Resident Factor at Balmoral Estate having moved to Deeside from Norfolk in 2009. He is a Chartered Surveyor and has been involved in running large diverse rural estates for over 20 years.
